Madison Roether of Junction City High School finished first in the individual competition at the Topeka West Invitational at the Topeka Country Club.

Coach Tim Hickert reported that Roether shot a winning round of four over par 77.

Junction City finished eighth out of nine teams in the tournament with a score of 492. Shawnee Mission East captured first place with the low score of 332.

Also for Junction City in the individual competition, Sierra Snyder shot a round of 121, Trinity Wiesler 144, and Molina Melendez 150.
