Federal Charge Filed In Manhattan Bank Robbery

A man currently in custody in at CCA’s Leavenworth Detention Center has been charged with one count of bank robbery.Screen-Shot-2014-03-12-at-5.44.16-PM.png

The indictment alleges that on November 27, 2013, Ronald David Brown Jr, 39, robbed the Kansas State Bank at 1101 Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan.

If convicted, Brown faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.

The Lenexa Police Department, Riley County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the robbery. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Warner is prosecuting.
