A man currently in custody in at CCA’s Leavenworth Detention Center has been charged with one count of bank robbery.
The indictment alleges that on November 27, 2013, Ronald David Brown Jr, 39, robbed the Kansas State Bank at 1101 Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan.
If convicted, Brown faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
The Lenexa Police Department, Riley County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the robbery. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Warner is prosecuting.
