Special Humanities Kansas speaker Louise Hanson will present “Tasting the Past: Exploring Kansas Food Memories” at the annual dinner of the Geary County Historical Society on Nov. 11.

Historical Society Director Katie Goerl previewed the program. “She’ll talk a little about food from ethnic communities and these communities, and their place in the history of Kansas and the food memories that come along with that.”

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost of a meal is $13, and those attending pay at the door. You are asked to RSVP in advance by Nov. 5.
