Munson Prime will be the location for kickoff of Restaurant Reimagined

Restaurant Re-imagined will be showcased at Munson’s Prime Restaurant, 426 Goldenbelt Boulevard, in Junction City Thursday evening. Organizers said it involves a renewed vision of restaurant hospitality with a refreshed mentality of service.

Munson’s Prime owner Deanna Munson said this will be a three-county effort under the Project Re-imagined umbrella. “Which is to make our employees, our businesses, better trained, better suited to be doing their job. ” One focus is to give those involved better training that come with the different projects that are being undertaken, direction where they could choose to advance themselves. Munson added that at some point they’re trying to develop a joint program with food service students from Cloud County Community College to do a degree and that could then be transferred to Kansas State University.

On Restaurant Re-imagined this Thursday evening Munson noted that they hope the public attends and enjoys the evening that will include live music and you will be able to order off the regular menu. Reservations are recommended. You can make those at 785-238-1135.

Training for the servers under the new program occurred on Wednesday. It is called the new normal in hospitality for our region.
