There will be a welcome event for military spouses from Fort Riley in the next few months. The Military Affairs Council Director for the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce, Craig Bender, is planning the event.

He said it will probably be held in early January. “We’re going to bring out 30, 40, 50 spouses from Fort Riley, show them what Junction City has to offer, kind cater them, take care of them, and just show them a good time and what Junction City has to offer.”
