This is a goal right now but there is a desire to try and bring a military manufacturing type of company to Junction City.

State Representative Lonnie Clark, who chairs the Kansas House Veterans and Military Committee,  is on board with this idea. “I’d like to see something like that come to Junction City and be a manufacturing of military type equipment, clothing, whatever it might be to Junction City. ”

Clark added he also sits on the Governor’s Military Council for which Lt. Gen. ( Ret. ) Perry Wiggins serves as executive director. “We’re really working hard in there trying to get something in the military manufacturing type industry into Junction City.”
