The Geary County Extension Office is hosting an informational meeting on the 2018 Farm Bill Tuesday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at the 4-H / Senior Citizens Building.

Extension Agent Chuck Otte said there will be discussion on how PLC and ARC-CO did for Geary County in the last Farm Bill, and there’ll be a look at some of the bigger changes in the 2018 Farm bill. There will also be some considerations for producers decisions for sign-up.

Otte will present the information portion of the meeting. Jennifer Sensley, County Executive Director for the Geary / Riley County Farm Service Agency Office will be present to help answer questions that producers may have.

There is no registration or charge to attend this meeting.
