Track and Field United athletes qualify for AAU Junior Olympic National Track Meet

Track and Field United athletes from the Junction City – Fort Riley – Abilene – Chapman area have qualified for the AAU Junior Olympic National Track Meet July 27-August 3 in Greensboro, NC!

YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT THEIR TRIP TO NATIONALS!

This year’s Junior Olympic National Meet qualifiers include:

 Draeson Gulley8, Regional Champion in Long Jump and Qualifier in the 200m dash;

Male’ya Harden, 13, Regional Champion in the Discus, and Runner Up in the Shot Put;

Juan Tovar, 18, Regional Meet 2nd place 3000m, 3rd place 1500m run, 6th place 800m run – qualifying in all three;

and Aaron Modrow, 18, Regional Champion in the 3000m run, and 6th place 1500m run, qualifying in both events respectively.
In 2018, Aaron earned Runner Up in the 1500m at AAU JO Nationals, and also earned a fourth place finish in the 3000m.

Track and Field United is a regional youth track club that includes athletes from Junction City, Fort Riley, Chapman, and Abilene. The club is coached by former Div. 1 track athletes, Auburn Alums, Forika and Fawn McDougald of Junction City.

Anything you can donate will help these athletes with hotel stays and travel for their week-long trip in Greensboro, NC for the Junior Olympic Meet!
