The Junction City Brigade defeated the Kansas City Monarchs 7-6 Tuesday night in Liberty, Missouri. The win was the 17th this season against only four defeats for the Brigade. The Monarchs fell to 8-4.

Junction City will host the Topeka Golden Giants Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Rathert Field.
