There will be an open house at the Junction City Athletic Training Center today ( Thursday ) from 4-6 p.m. to allow the public an opportunity to see their new batting cages. The Director of the Center, Rick Bazan, said it will be a four cage batting system including three for baseball and one for softball.

Pitches will be set at slow, medium and fast speeds. The cost will be $1 per token that will allow 14 pitches, $5 for  5 tokens, $10 for 11 tokens and $20 for 23 tokens.

The batting cages are designed to serve all ages and levels.  A roof over the system and a backdrop with a home run line where batters can track home runs will be completed in about two weeks.
