Cathy was born March 13, 1952. Her many accomplishments were being on the debate team in high school, a legal secretary, working at K-state for 9 years, and even becoming a pilot.

On January 2, 1971, she married the love of her life, Jerry Longren. They were married 48 years. Cathy and Jerry had 3 beautiful children: Travis, Shelby, and Jared. They went on to give Cathy and Jerry 10 grandchildren: Constance, Dakota, Tyson, Dutch, Caden, Brianna, Brendan, Caleb, Warren, and Grayson. They went on to give Cathy and Jerry 2 great-grandchildren: Kendrick and Kalani.

There will be a graveside service at Ashland Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. Monday June 17, 2019. A Celebration of Life will follow after the service at 5 p.m. in the Ashland Community Center.

Cathy will be greatly missed.
