The Junction City – Washburn Rural softball game at Cleary Park in Junction City had to be postponed after two innings Monday.

First a lightning delay was put into effect as a storm cell moved into the area, and then the games had to be postponed indefinitely once more intense thunderstorm activity moved through Junction City. Washburn Rural was leading 17-0 in the first game when play was halted.
