Athletic Director Matt Westerhaus has announced some weather related sports postponements for Junction City High School teams today ( Tuesday ).

–The Lady Jay varsity softball game vs. Washburn Rural at Cleary Park has been moved to Monday, May 6th at 4 p.m. at the same location.

–The Blue Jay varsity baseball game at Washburn Rural has been moved to Monday as well, at Washburn Rural at 3 p.m.

–Girls swim meet in Topeka postponed due to lightning delays. The meet has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 1st at the same time and location.

–The Lady Jay soccer match Tuesday night against Highland Park at Al Simpler Stadium has been postponed. A make-up date will be determined.

Also, Westerhaus announced that the junior varsity baseball games on Tuesday, May 7th vs. Topeka West that were originally scheduled to be played at Rathert Field have been moved to Hummer Sports Park in Topeka at 4 p.,m.  The varsity teams were already scheduled to play in Topeka at that same time.
