The Geary County Commision and the Geary County Sheriffs Office honored Larry Dacus and Nate Sparks for their years of service. Nate Sparks started in Great Bend Kansas in 1959 as a Police Officer. Larry Dacus started with Junction City Police Department as a reserve in 1972. Both are now employees of the Geary County Sheriff’s Office and just celebrated their 80th birthday.
