The Junction City Blue Jays and Lady Jays have athletes competing at the KU Relays Friday and Saturday.

Coach Randall Zimmerman noted that on Friday morning in the girls competition Kiana Newman false-started in the 100 High Hurdles but she finished 17th in the 300 Hurdles in 47.74. Sherrie Jones finished 11th in the Shot Put with a throw of 37’8′ and Savannah Adams 19th in the Shot Put with a throw of 36.’

In the boys competition Juan Tovar finished 32nd in the 800 Meters in 2:06.
