The Geary County Sheriff’s Department said Deputies responded on Tuesday to 6492 K-177 Highway for a report of a lapsed theft.

The victim, Wardcraft Construction stated that over the nighttime hours from April 8th to the morning hours of April 9th someone stole approximately 150 4×8 sheets of osb, oriented strand board ( plywood ).

THe Sheriff’s Department reported that Deputies responded at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday to the K-18 Bypass mile marker 179 southbound for a one-vehicle non-injury accident. Exavier Ard, Carbondale, KS, was attempting to merge onto I-70 in his 2008 Dodge Avenger when the vehicle struck the side of a 2012 Mac Semi-Truck driven by Jeffrey Lear, Macon, Georgia.
