Junction City police have released information on a Monday afternoon incident in the 200 block of East Chestnut Street where Patrol Officers responded at 4:45 p.m. for a check welfare on a subject laying near the railroad tracks.

Upon arrival Officers located Charles M. Jones, 53, Junction City, deceased. No foul play is suspected.
