The Kansas Department of Transportation has approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.

On the list is a bridge replacement project for bridge number-076 over the West Lyon Creek Drainage on K-209, one-half mile west of U.S. 77 Highway in Dickinson County.  The bid was awarded to King Construction Company Inc. and Subsidiaries of Hesston, Kansas.

The total amount of the bid was $1,105,915.04.
