There are some changes to the baseball and girls soccer schedules for Junction City High School teams.

Athletic Director Matt Westerhaus confirmed that the season opening baseball doubleheaders for the Blue Jay junior varsity and varsity teams against Topeka High that were on March 28th and 29th at Rathert Field have been rescheduled to March 19th at Hummer Sports Park in Topeka. Work is still under way on installing new artificial turf and sod at Rathert Field. Ice and snow this winter have caused delays in that process.

In girls soccer the junior varsity and varsity matches that were scheduled March 26th in El Dorado have been moved up one day to March 25th, Wichita Homeschool will replace Wichita Independent on the Junction City schedule April 2nd in Wichita, and a second varsity match has been added vs. Highland Park on April 30th at Al Simpler Stadium. The first varsity match with Highland Park is April 5th at Highland Park.
