The Chapman boys basketball team ( 18-4 ) will play Garnett – Anderson County ( 17-5 ) in the first round of the Class 4A State Basketball Tournament at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina.

On the same side of the tournament bracket Andale plays Augusta, while the remainder of the pairings find Wichita-Trinity matched up against Chanute, and Kansas City Piper playing Parsons.

The tournament semifinals will be Friday, and the championship and third place consolation games on Saturday.
