The new Orscheln Farm and Home Store in Junction City is open for business.

The site preparation and store construction have been under way in recent months at 121 East Chestnut Street.  The new store opened on Saturday.

The new location houses a sales floor of more than 29,000 square feet. The expanded space includes a new Orscheln Outdoors department that features select firearms, fishing gear and outdoor apparel. A larger selection of firearms will soon be added to the department. Other departments like clothing and pet,  have also increased in size.

Customers will see an expansion of current brands like Wrangler, Carhartt, Ariat, along with new brands like Purina Bella and Stella & Chewy’s dog food and treats.
