The Geary County Sheriff’s has reported that Deputies responded to K-18 bypass mile marker 177 for a non-injury vehicle/deer accident.

Mark Hefley, Larned, was driving his 2009 GMC Sierra when a deer ran out in front of him, causing damage to the front of the truck. The truck was towed from the scene. The accident was reported at 9:07 p.m. Sunday.
