The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas.

Among them is one for Geary County. It involves pavement marking on I-70 for 26.5 miles. The bid was awarded to Innovative Marking Systems Inc. of Bluffdale, Utah. The bid price was $659,183.71.
