The 5th grade White Junior Jay football team captured their Flint Hills League Championship.

The team defeated previously undefeated Rock Creek in the championship game 28-0, and finished with a final record of 5-0.

Jake Leighty served as the head coach for the Junior Jay squad. Other coaches for the team included Paul Barber, Jimmy Neal, Alex Tyson, Lance Karmann, Jamelle Vornes and Rodney Ewing.
