The Junction City Lady Jay volleyball team lost to Gardner Edgerton in their Class 6A Substate Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at Wichita Southeast High School.

Gardner-Edgerton won by the scores of 25-6, 25-19. The Lady Jays finished their season with a record of 11-23.

Gardner-Edgerton went on to win the substate championship after defeating Liberal in the championship match.
