Geary County Sheriff Tony Wolf had an opportunity to meet for a short time Saturday night with President Donald Trump during the President’s visit to Topeka for a rally.

Wolf explained he worked through some friends with the Secret Service to get the opportunity to meet the President. “When he showed up I got to shake hands with him, visited with him for a very short amount of time, and I got a photo with him, a White House photo.”  The White House photographer took the photograph so it will be awhile for Wolf receives a copy. The Sheriff called the visit with Trump “a humbling experience.”

Wolf said the President was “very nice, very soft spoken” and very interested in what the Sheriff had to say.

Trump participated in a roundtable discussion with business representatives and then a rally at the Kansas Expocentre.
