The Junction City Lady Jay varsity volleyball team opened with wins in two out three matches in a quadrangular in Topeka.

According to Head Coach Basil Nevill they defeated Topeka West 25-23, 25-22, and Highland Park 25-7, 25-16. They lost to Hayden in two games.

The Lady Jay junior varsity team this week went 1-1 in a triangular in Abilene where they defeated Marysville and lost to Abilene. They went 2-1 in a quadrangular at the Shenk Gym on Thursday with wins over Topeka West and Highland Park and a loss to Hayden.
