In an effort to promote awareness of responsible seat belt use State Farm, Safe Kids Kansas and KDOT are teaming up to reward drivers who buckle up with the Bucks for Buckles event. It features local volunteers handing out dollar bills to drivers who have all vehicle occupant buckled up correctly.

Junction City State Farm Agent Karen James with the help of local volunteers hosted a local Bucks for Buckles event at the Handy’s / Cenex at 1734 West Ash Street Monday morning.  A combined total of $150 drivers was handed to passing drivers whose vehicle occupants were all buckled securely.
