There are four anglers remaining in the Bassmaster College Bracket Championship fishing tournament at Milford Lake.
Day one of competition saw the field of eight reduced to four fishermen. They include Nick Ratliff, Campbellsville University, Kentucky; Nolan Minor, West Virginia; Garrett Enders and Cody Huff of Bethel University in Tennessee.
They talked about their day one fishing on Milford Lake. Ratliff called it a good day. “It’ really tough, but the fishing obviously worked out.” Minor said he caught all his fish off one spot. I’m hoping there’s more. I think there’s still some fish there.”
Enders said he caught fish on a variety of baits while Huff said it was tough on the lake. “You’ve got to really capitalize on the few bites you do get. Today I didn’t that very well so I was lucky to get by. I ended up losing one, probably the biggest small mouth I’ve ever seen.
