A general discussion item on the agenda for the Junction City – Geary County Metropolitan Planning Commission next week involves a site plan review for American Builders and Contractors Supply Company, Junction City.
According to Troy Livingston, Director of Planning and Zoning, they want to put a pipe supply operation in an existing building on the north side of Old Highway 40 on the southwest side of the city. “They’re wanting to expand the building and do a few things, modifications inside, keep large plumbing supplies down there.”
Livingston explained the company ships to other locations. “It’s going to be more of a small distribution point I think.”
The MPC will meet Thursday evening at the Geary County Emergency Management offices at 226 East 8th Street.
