The new Junction City High School project will be on the agenda for the Metropolitan Planning Commission Thursday evening. There will be a public hearing on the request by USD 475 for a Special Use Permit to allow for a School on Property zoned “RM” Multi-family Residential District.

The new school site is located on a tract of land that has been acquired by the school district just west of Junction City and north of K-18 Highway.

The board meets at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at the Emergency Management Building, 236 East 8th Street.
