The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that Deputies responded to K-57 Highway mile marker 25 for an accident Friday.

Trevor Durbin, Council Grove, was driving his 2013 Subaru Legacy south bound when he fell asleep and ran off the roadway. Durbin was treated by EMS and released at the scene with minor injuries.

Just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday Deputies responded to U.S. 77 Highway at mile marker 156 for a single vehicle non-injury accident.

Christopher Booth, Junction City, was north bound in a 2005 GMC Sierra when his vehicle struck a deer.
