GCH Auxiliary Makes Donation

The Geary Community Hospital Auxiliary presented a $1,000 check to Nancy Dettmer, Medical Explorer Program Advisor and Junction City High School Health Science Pathway Instructor, to sponsor GCH Medical Explorer students for the upcoming national Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) competition in Texas.

“This is a very unique opportunity for our GCH Medical Explorer and Junction City High School students who qualified for the national HOSA competition,” said Connie Peck, GCH Auxiliary President. “The GCH Medical Explorers program is a great way to recruit and retain our young, local talent and we’re very proud to be a part of it. The competition they are attending is a wonderful learning experience and a great way to end their latest session of Explorers.”
