The Geary County Commission has approved a cereal malt beverage license for Acorns Resort near Milford Lake.

Commissioner Charles Stimatze said the license was approved for the Acorns Resort convenience store. “They’re opening up a convenience store that’s a new building out there.” The building will also house offices for the resort.
