The search effort for a new Military Affairs Council Director for the Junction City Area of Chamber of Commerce in Junction City is under way following the retirement of former director John Seitz.

MAC Advisory Committee Chair Phyllis Fitzgerald provided an update to that committee this past week. She told JCPost.com resumes have been received and a search committee has narrowed them down. “And they’ll start pretty soon looking at them, seeing if they have the right resumes, and potentially do some interviews.”

If the applicants are not what is being sought by the committee Fitzgerald added they would then continue to receive other resumes.
