The Geary County 4-H Interstate Exchange Group is hosting a fundraiser in conjunction with Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Junction City on Tuesday, May 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The restaurant is located at 802 E. Chestnut Street in Junction City and 4-H Interstate Exchange participants will be there and will receive a portion of the proceeds for the evening.
4-H Interstate Exchange programs are an exciting opportunity for teenage youth in which individuals from the county visit in the homes of 4-H members in another geographical area, and are visited by them in return. Geary County visited Douglas County, Oregon last July and will host the group from Oregon this summer. For more information about this event or about Geary County 4-H, contact Ginger Kopfer at the Geary County Extension Office, 238-4161.
