Blue Jay Tennis Seventh in Centennial League Tournament

The Blue Jay tennis team competed in the Centennial Varsity League tournament on Monday.

Mason Richards led the team with a 9th place finish in singles going 3-2 on the day.  The other singles player representing the Blue Jays was Luke Craft.  He finished out the day winning his last two matches going 2-4 on the day.  The doubles team of Nolan Rothfuss and Jace Goheen went 3-3 on the day, finishing 13th place.  The defeated their teammates Yuno Fernandez and Aaron Reutzel in their final match.  Fernandez and Reutzel went 2-4 on the day.

Overall, the Blue Jays finished 7th place as a team.  Manhattan won the ten team league tournament, followed by Emporia and Washburn Rural.
