Blue Jay Baseball Splits With Topeka West

The Junction City Blue Jays dropped the opener of their baseball doubleheader to the Topeka West Chargers on Friday 5-2 but bounced back to win the nightcap 12-1 in the capitol city.

Blue Jay Coach Pat Stivers said in game one Junction City left a lot of players on base, and Ty Clark threw well enough to get the win. Junction City ( 9-3 ) will host Seaman in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Rathert Field.
