Blue Jay Tennis Competed in Quadrangular

The Junction City Blue Jay tennis team traveled to Lawrence High School to play in a quadrangular with Olathe South, Gardner Edgerton and Lawrence on Wednesday.  Individually, Aaron Reutzel won all three matches on the day going 3-0.

The Blue Jays split matches with Lawrence with Kody Westerhaus and Reutzel winning the two singles matches.   Against Gardner- Edgerton, the Blue Jays won all three matches they played.  The doubles team of Mason Richards and Luke Craft won the number one doubles spot, while Jace Goheen and Calen Boller won the other doubles spot.  Reutzel finished off the sweep with his second victory in singles. Against Olathe South, the Blue Jays went 1-2 on the day, with Reutzel finishing off his perfect day in singles.  Olathe South took both doubles matches.

The Blue Jays next travel to Topeka on Monday for the Topeka Invitational.  Matches will start at 9 am.
