Blue Jay Tennis Results

 The Blue Jay tennis team continued its early season success at the Topeka Seaman Invite. Seven teams competed in the tournament in Topeka and all Blue Jay players finished in the top three of their bracket.

Aaron Reutzel was the lone champion for the Blue Jays as he won the number two singles bracket going 3-0 on the day. Finishing in second place was Kody Westerhaus who competed in the top singles flight and Erik Mitchell who finished in the second singles bracket.   Yuno Fernandez rounded out singles play going 3-1 in the top singles bracket and finishing third.

Both doubles teams went 3-1 on the day and earned third place finishes. Mason Richards and Luke Craft played in the top doubles bracket and Nolan Rothfuss and Jace Goheen competed in the second doubles flight. Overall, the Blue Jays finished in second place as a team, finishing only one point behind Topeka Seaman.

The Blue Jays next play a home meet on Monday, April 16. Matches start at 3 pm.
