Lucas Duda (DOO’-duh) hit a seventh-inning homer and Ian Kennedy tossed six scoreless frames as the Royals blanked the Indians, 1-0.

Kennedy allowed four hits and struck out eight to help Kansas City win with a three-hit attack.

The Royals evened the series with Cleveland at 1-1.
