The Chapman girls track team scored 114 points to finish third out of seven teams in their own invitational on Thursday.
For the Chapman girls, McKenna Kirkpatrick won the 400 meter dash in 1:05.52, finished second in the discus throw at 103’6″ and second in the triple jump at 34’4,” Lindsey Anderson first in the 800 meter run in 2:40.23, Taylor Briggs first in the 1600 meter run in 5:28.99 and first in the 3200 meter run in a school record time of 11:37.98.
The Chapman boys scored 87 points to finish fourth. For the Irish Malik Watkins won the 100 meter dadsh in 11.48. Aaron Modrow won the 1600 meter run in 4:47.75 and the 3200 meter run in 10:19.36.
Clay Center won the girls team title with 127 points while Wamego took the boys team title with 148 points.
