Chamber Issues Statement on Phishing Emails

The Junction City Chamber of Commerce has reported that their office has been fielding complains regarding notices being sent about late payments and overdue balances on accounts.

The Chamber said disregard any notice that does not come from finance@jcacc.org or has more than one email in the from line, and do not click on any links.

The notices some have been receiving are part of a Phishing scam.

Phishing emails are disguised emails that are designed to obtain sensitive information such as user names and passwords, and can contain links or attachments that lead to a malicious website or file.
