Army Emergency Relief campaign officially underway

The annual Army Emergency Relief fundraising campaign – now in its 76th year of  “Soldiers Helping Soldiers” – runs now through May 15.  AER is a private
non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to Soldiers, active and retired, and their families.

Over the past few years, AER has evolved to meet the needs of today’s Army. They’ve added new categories of assistance, expedited the assistance process and increased grants by 30 percent.  Also, in 2015, AER changed its policy to allow all Soldiers, regardless of rank, direct access to AER assistance.

Soldiers who need AER assistance can visit www.aerhq.org or contact their unit’s AER representative.

To donate to AER, go to https://www.aerhq.org/Donate.

Since it was founded in 1942, AER has provided more than $1.8 billion to more than 3.6 million Soldiers and families.
