The Junction City Blue Jay boys bowling team placed sixth in the Class 6A State tournament on Thursday at the North Rock Lanes in Wichita.

According to the JCHS,  Tyler Gromlovits of Junction City finished fifth and medaled in the individual competition.

The Lady Jay bowling team finished in ninth place. Chloe Lovell of Junction City placed 12th in the individual competition, which was good enough to medal.
