POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY — Three people were injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Monday in Pottawatomie County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Jeep driven by Mayra C. Perez, 24, Fort Riley, was on Hoffman Lane crossing eastbound lanes of U.S.24

The driver failed to yield to right-of-way. An easbound 2015 Dodge Van driven by John W. Blankley, 68, Manhattan, struck the Jeep.

Perez, Blankley and a passenger in the Dodge Blankley, Billie J. Blankley, 64, Manhattan, were transported to Via Christi.

All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
