Valley View Senior Life in Junction City has issued a notice to the public. They are experiencing a high number influenza cases.

Currently, they have restricted visitation to immediate family members only. The restriction is a necessary protection measure for the safety of the residents, visitors and staff during the flu season.

The following visitation procedures will be observed at Valley View Senior Life.

–Only adults, 18 and older, may visit VVSL.

–Those with any flu-like illness symptoms such as a fever,cough, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, etc.are asked to not visit VVSL

–VVSL has masks and hands sanitizer available at the front door for visitors.

The administrator of Valley View Senior Life,Tyrone Wilkens. said these policies will remain in effect until the end of the flu season.
