The Geary County Commission has developed a plan to help in the recruitment of jailers for the Geary County Detention Center.

Commission Chairman Ben Bennett stated, “that will put a thousand dollar bonus out for anybody that we hire in the near future to bring people to us. If they stay a year they will be able to earn a thousand dollar bonus.”
