The Junction City Blue Jay and Lady Jay basketball teams will compete at Salina Central Tuesday night. The girls varsity game is scheduled at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow about 7:45.

The Blue Jays opened their season with an 83-76 win at Dodge City while Salina Central defeated Goddard 56-45. The Mustangs are ranked sixth in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll in Class 5A.

The Lady Jays fell to Dodge City in their opener 46-39 while Salina Central defeated Goddard 52-34. Salina Central is ranked seventh in the KBCA poll in Class 5A.
